Contra Costa County pushed the total of people living in this median price point past the 10 million mark, and San Diego is now just $25,000 shy of $1 million.
Mono County is a tiny rural county up in the Sierras(?) I know very little about that area, but here is a link to homes currently for sale there:

There's been talk in the news about the high speed rail from the Cental Valley to San Jose getting funding, I wonder if that will affect home prices out in places like Fresno and the like.
