Teh old capitol theatre is completley hidden with tarps and sign that says "coming soon. Plan to be amazed" I snuck a peek behind the tarps, and it looked amazing they repaired the broken stones and realy did a good job cleaning the old ones. I am going that way tomm. so I will get some pics.

the capitol theatre is rented by the City of London for the next 20 years.

move in date has been pushed back multiple times, but it looks like it should be early in the new year...

^Missing Page (404) on that link.

Christ, I hope the city can succeed where others have failed. Dundas has really become an open-air toilet over the past 2 decades.

The Planning Department is moving into the Capitol/Bowles Building sometime in the new year. I think it looks great.. almost out of place because it looks so nice compared to whats around it! - But I do know that Dundas and the Downtown in general have been improving with lots of Facades being re-done. Babaz has also just opened at the old Arby's location in front of the Library- Also the highly anticipated Braise restaurant on dundas accross from Kingsmills had its soft opening last weekend and may possibly be officially open now if not then the weekend forsure! I believe in the downtown making a comeback and I am happy to see that their are investors that are willing to take a chance to help the downtown a more vibrant and lively place. Now we just need more residential towers, maybe some (nice looking vancouver/Toronto style)condos would be nice.

I was DT today and I thought That a 30+ story tower on top of these buildings would looke pretty good. Maybe something like 1 King west in Tdot only a bit shorter. What do you guys think?
