Canada's Great Digital Decade

Facing long term unemployment and the fact that I'll be stuck in my commie block apartment in London all summer I'm aiming for a positivity thread.

Since we are only 72 days into the decade I'd like to hope that future historians will not be talking about the virus itself but about the sudden shift in Canadian behavior.

I'm dedicating this thread to all things related to the digitization of Canadian life.

With special focus on electronics sales within the country, streaming services in Canada, automation, online sales, telecommuting, and Egaming.

If you are at all a gamer I recommend you pick up a PSVR head set, before they sell out.

In fact I'd argue especially if you are not a gamer it'd be a great time to get a VR video game console.

I never owned one until last April(bought it with wedding gift money). I'm not a gamer but VR from my perspective is something entirely different.

Yeah I'm gonna figure out getting a copy of Robotstudio, some plc programming software, and work up my fusion solid/works skills.

It's ironic as an underemployed autistic technologist this might be my time to shine.

The playing field has been leveled in terms of my social skills, I have a years wage in savings so I can afford to work for free, and I'm ahead of the curve for figuring this out in March and Not Mid summer.
