The world has become a global village. Today to do a job in any location in the world is not something that scares people or puts them in a frenzied tizzy. But countries that are open to expats have to cater to the needs of the relocating population. The other side of the story is that with opportunities opening up in all corners of the world, the domestic population also sees no need to scour for jobs in foreign shores. To meet the infrastructure needs viz a viz roads, power and other basic amenities countries are taking up projects to meet the demand of the local as well as the international population. To match up with the transportation needs and to ease traffic , work has begun on Dubai's first tram project on Al Sufouh Road, said a senior official at the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA).
