I always forget about those other towers, but that will have a huge impact also.

The Eye of Sauron continues to rise! The speed is quite remarkable. Similar to 111 W 57th which took forever with preliminary demo/site prep/incorporation into the existing tower... but one that once finished, rises like diamond Bamboo.

Rise my pretty! Hopefully between this being residential and it being this far along, the changes of it being delayed (or worse) are low.

My favorite NYC project. Not just the looks, but the location.

Will be New York's first instant iconic building since 1WTC, which of course you could say is only iconic because of what it represents. Perhaps for the first time ever all eyes will be on Brooklyn for it's skyline. Big, big moment in New York City history.

Yes it will, joining a list of new icons across the city. But this one is Brooklyn's, which hasn't had that, and the excellent architecture here plays a part, in addition to its height. I only wish Queens could get something like this, but it's harder there with the height limits imposed by the FAA.

At this rate it could potentially pass Brooklyn Point and be the tallest in Brooklyn by the end of 2020.
