Hi everyone, just want to introduce myself. I'm a huge fan of great architecture and urban development. I've been following this website for well over a decade since I was a teenager, but regrettably have never contributed. I'm originally from Orange County, CA but just recently moved to Vegas. I'm constantly going on drives around town to check out the new developments... I'll do my best to update everyone on what's going on around Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Orange County, and Long Beach. Thanks!
Atari & GSD just released some renderings today for a proposed Atari-themed All-Ages hotel. Not sure where in Vegas its planned exactly but it looks really cool.
Haven't seen it on here so here's what the Virgin Hotels remodel of the Hard Rock is suppose to look like.
And here's some better photos of the Las Vegas Gateway Arch which I'm really excited about.
Doesn't look like much is going on at the site of the magestic...
I will drive around again sometime this week to get some recent Las Vegas Convention Center photos as well as the MSG sphere. Let me know if there's any other projects you guys would like to see!
Every time I look into the Las Vegas Forum I do it with fingers crossed, that a few more condo buildings would be under construction downtown or even a 5 story project on Fremont.
Been away from 2 years now and it doesn't look very promising!
The true scale of this building is insane. To get an idea of how big the footprint actually is, the entire length of the photo below from left to right is all part of the Las Vegas Convention Center
Way Out West, I just want to be one of the many expressing gratitude for these reliable updates on projects in the LV Valley and I hope that you will please keep posting!

I appreciate it NYC2ATX !!! I've been following this forum along with the LA ones for more than a decade now....It's only fair that I start chipping in lol. It's also not hard for me to be enthusiastic about this city, when there's developments happening here that are unlike anywhere else in the world, and on a scale rarely seen before. With a place as vibrant, unique, and innovative as Las Vegas... I take pleasure in exploring & documenting everything for those that aren't here to experience it first hand!
This is the first ground-up resort constructed in 40 years on Fremont Street. The building itself dwarfs over everything in Downtown, its not even close...However, when observing from higher land in the valley down on Las Vegas Blvd, its noticeable smaller than the resorts on the strip. I'm excited to say its finally open & all lit up, although not all sections are fully open yet...Including the Uber/Lyft drop off and the rooftop bar. Pool area was already closed when I got there but I plan on going back sometime soon to check it out. The whole project looks incredible, especially at night and in-person...Even the parking garage Garage Mahal looks amazing. This project is going to kickstart a new era in downtown, and I think we'll see a newfound focus of new developments centered around Fremont Street in the years to come
Some daytime photos I've found online. The appearance of the building between day & night is a huge contrast (Specifically the bronze tinted windows & reddish brown accents in the daytime compared to the different shades of blue, gold, and white lighting in the night)
Thanks WayOutWest for all the pictures of the Convention Center and Circa, I havent made it anywhere near there for a long time.
I can say that this building you asked about on DI
has been there for a dozen years at least, if not longer. I started going to SEMA every November starting in 2006 and it was there then, I parked on that street beside it a couple of times in the early years, before I switched to using the monorail.
