SANTIAGO | Project Updates

Well, I'll show you some under construction projects from this 6.5 million people metropolis (all of them are office buildings):

Costanera Center, one 260 meters tower with 57 floors (designed by Cesar Pelli), and two towers of 35 floors

Titanium La Portada, 181 meters, 52 floors:

Isidora Magdalena Building, 25 stories



Isidora Foster, 24 stories

New Mistral Building, 23 stories



New Club de la Union Building, 22 stories



New Rosario Norte Building, 19 stories

El Regidor Building, 19 stories

Yeah; That's some good activity going on there.... Some nice designs... I hope ST continues to come up with some good architectural plans... It's a beautiful place.

Thanks for the update!

Are any of these towers going to be near the Marriott? Just wondering if there will be a cluster of highrises.

Yeah, actually there is a huge regeneration project near hotel Marriot called "Nueva Las Condes", and it consists of about 15 buildings of 20- 25 floors.
Here are some pics from last year, now there are more buildings u/c









Also, next to Marriot Hotel (40 floors), there is an empty plot that is going to be used by any skyscrpaer soon if the economy continues growing at over 6 per cent annually.

By the way, here's a link to a thread of pictures of Santiago made by me , where the European style old downtown is shown, and also the modern area of skyscrapers.

Santiago, a mix of Europe and the US. Just look at it, you'll surprise

damn, that Marriott is HOT! I wish Philly had that one instead of the crappy Mariott convention center hotel.
