I went months ago before some of the vendors were even open. Ironically there were tons of students from field trips in there eating.

^ I took out of town visitors there in June, after a visit to MAR. It was packed and the offerings seemed well selected. I'll have to go back and see what didn't make it. The Bourse serves a niche market in a niche location, except for the offices around there, it's not in an area that's part of the everyday life of the city, in my opinion.

An interesting article on Temple's new library. A bit envious. I always hated Van Pelt.

That had been probably the biggest part of their business *before* the renovations and re-upscaling and that was the segment I thought they might lose. Of course it's also possible many of the returning adult teachers who had brought groups there in years past hadn't got the memo of the changes. Then again, for the field trip groups the Bourse has an overwhelming advantage of location, location, location.

Regarding the Bourse...the inside is nicer now. But, I don't think there was any one food vendor that stood out, and it looked like the service was a bit slow. I'll have to give it another try, preferably on a rainy day.

I heard on Reddit that 2100 Hamilton has started site prep, can anyone confirm?

Yes, for a while now. One of the posters in P.I.C.H. has been regularly updating a thread about that site, most recently yesterday. Cranes are on site.

I work near the bourse and am in there regularly. Maybe 4 or so of the vendors have closed, an indian place, a chocolate place and a couple other ones. I think part of the reason for the closures is that they just have a lot of stalls (so more opportunity for failure) and it is all local, ethnic or unique non chain kind of places so i am sure there is bound to be some things that just don't click. It is certainly a good place and it does tons of tourist business, but I wonder if perhaps there just won't be quite enough traffic for so many different options. Especially during the colder months. The other problem is that it is just a little too expensive. I would go much more often if I could get a solid lunch for $10 or under. But I just can't justify regularly spending more than $10 on lunch or getting the cheapest thing on the menu for $9 that isn't quite filling enough. All in all, solid place that definitely will succeed overall but might need some fine tuning.

Intech has it under pre-construction on its website. Not sure what that really means though.

And, can remember if we have a thread for this one or not.

We do have a thread, but the crane is for HV/AC installation on top of the Fed building.

Penn's Tangen Hall has SHOT UP. I'm pretty sure it's already topped out at 7 floors!

Saw on Twitter that the e-sports arena groundbreaking is happening today. Glad those stadium parking lots are getting developed.

Very visible from I-95. The project has got a large footprint due to what looks like attached parking structure. The height isn't really that impressive, but for the area it will stand out for sure.
