I am glad it did. It seemed to face a lot of opposition and to see it succeed is a nice vindication for the supporter camp.

When the New York Times named Saskatoon one of the “52 places to go in 2018,” the Remai Modern was tipped as the main attraction. In the article, the gallery’s collection gets a shoutout, but its “world-class modernist architecture” is described as a draw, too.
