Downtown and Pacific Center is paid parking. It does fine.

All I saw were pay machines, it remains to be seen how it's enforced and what they charge so we don't know the full story yet...

That said I can understand why it is pay parking, because otherwise the residents' visitors will just use it at leisure, which will detriment the mall.

It could be something like 2hour free but still required to "sign in/register" at a stall,

Similar to what Concord Pacific has set up on their metrotown lands

Or validation by merchants like at City Square.

CF Richmond Centre is just patrolled by cars equipped with licence plate reading cameras to enforce the 3 hour time limit. Seems like the easiest way to do it.

It’s a mall after all! People shouldn’t need to pay to park while they shop
I see that the old mall behind it still have some free parking stalls there, but very limited.

People that are visiting the new mall can always park in free parking lots farther away and take sky train in. I think the mall's retailers will probably eventually set up like other places where shoppers that purchase something get there parking reimbursed back to them.

I didn't think to look for them in the parkade here, but at Solo across the street they have plate reader cameras mounted on the ceiling around the parkade, you don't even need a patrol car anymore.

TAB has display signs through the parkade displaying how many free stalls on each floor which is useful.

Does the CRU plan have space for a grocery store? That'd be ideal for residents.

whats a Doner Stop?

And it confirms it will be H&M Home, instead of just an H&M with a home section. H&M has been opening more stand-alone home stores recently, this will be great!

And there is already a Bubble Waffle cafe in the food court, they must be moving.

Re Neptune, I forgot to mention that the promo lady at the plaza pointed towards the big glass box at right as its location (if I'm not mistaken). So it could be the seafood resto version.

And that Cactus Club includes the rooftop patio.

Doner Stop implies a quick stop for Turkish meat wrap(?) or like shawarma from the Middle East. Plenty of those doner places in Spain too. Not sure if they'll do similar treatment for the TAB spot.
