Not an actual update, sorry for the bump, but a newer article from mid January on this (that I cant track down right now) said they plan to have it move in ready by 2026, do we consider this possible?

Seems reasonable. This will likely take ~2 years to construct pending no issues.

If they started construction today they could probably have it ready for Fall 2025. That said they aren't starting today... so Fall 2026 makes a lot of sense. New student housing construction of this scale is usually timed to deliver right before when students are ready to move-in. Finishing too late or too early can add a lot of expense to student housing projects where leasing and move-ins happen all at once annually. If you miss it you're screwed because students are forced to make a choice by a date certain so too early is better than too late.

It seems UC is more welcoming to high rise construction then Center City is.

Not a ton of homeowner's in University City proper. Either way though... there's still a ton of highrise development in Center City

I cant wait to see this rise, it really will tower over the area, i like how it seems we kind of have 3 seperate, but connected skylines here, CC, The Hospital area, UC especially around U-City square and im sure around 30th street is popping up too.
Whats the term for these? Skyscraper Forests?

Love these new renderings and design tweaks. Looks great. This is only slightly shorter than EVO at Cira South. Pretty substantial.

There are very few highrises I'd consider "beauties" nowadays.

Something I do appreciate is that they made all of the windows symmetrical and aligned. If they used traditional materials like brick, then you might hear me call this a beauty.
