I was by there this past Wednesday sans camera. It didn't look that much different than the last set of photos.

What a great, dense, neighborood, judging by the photos above. A real mix of old row homes, 1920's highrises, and everything inbetween - all the things that make a vibrant urban area.

question

so is this site prep for the foundation or is this for shoring up the other building, or both? Also what has to happen before this officially gets moved to the construction forum?

it TOTALLY looks like they're building it, but wouldn't a developer want a little bit of fanfare if they were?

This is still site prep (especially b/c this hole is going to take another 5 months till its finished). Once they pour the concrete foundation, I think it could be moved to construction.

I'll swing by tomorrow or Thursday again for a pic but I had a run by this afternoon (literally running so no camera phone today) and the partial site hole is indeed a full site hole now and the only real direction to go is down. If anyone else wants to cruise by for some real shots, it'll be worth your/our time.

Wow. Went by today around 12:30. Nice progress. The entire pit is around 10-12' deep. Sorry I couldn't didn't bring a camera. The difference between Tua's pictures and what I saw today is remarkable.

not too long now

I suppose it won't be long before this gets moved to the construction forum i suppose. I don't know how far down they have to dig for the garage/foundation but if its at the pace were seeing recently that won't be too long before the concrete truck's are lining up.
