The Tower! It has a rich cinema history on the screen as well as showing films with a special love shown to it by the genius David Lynch in both Twin Peaks and Mulholland Drive.

With Apple in the film and television production sector, do we see this as a move to be a premier house of sorts? The ground floor tables can be moved and upstairs they still have inclined theater seating. It looks like the stage has a moveable section that houses the current screen

Can you believe it? It's cinematic hallowed ground, and they took it and whitewashed the walls, and turned it into an Apple store! (jk, I like the way it turned out).

Yes, that's exactly what one of the employees told me. Plus the windows facing 8th street open generously.

Theres retail tables behind the bleachers. There's also a security guard watching the bathrooms downstairs. They have to put a code for you just to open them!

Good on Apple for helping to preserve such architectural gem. Downtown LA looks so vibrant these days.

Just about up to 20 floors. The cocoon is also being installed. Eight and Fig is also at ground level. Fig @ Pico is also about the same height as Circa.

I have a hard time seeing the homeless even making it THAT far.

I checked out the store the other day (restoration work beautifully done by the way). Security and store associates are absolutely EVERYWHERE, from the lobby to the old box suites.

Thanks. Brookfield will be very impressive when it gets to 64 floors & (almost) 700 feet.

When can we expect Brookfield to be visible from Griffith Park? Or from the 101 freeway between Normandie and Vermont?

Bonus: Apple holding a class in the Theater this morning. Sound is great and reverberates throughout the theater.
