This would feel a bit less looming over Water St if Public Works could finish whatever they are doing to the Dominion Public Building and get that scaffolding down.

Did the design change? Those renderings aren't as nice as what I remembered. Looks like it has. Just checked Page 6.

I do see some differences. For example the original showed copper-like metal screens on the 2-storey section and now that looks grey. But I think most of the apparent difference is just in how it was rendered. It looks more "plastic" in these ones, but it will be clad in stone and metal.

Looks pretty much the same, so far as I can tell? Mostly appears to be a difference of high res vs low res textures used for the rendering. Simplified for the version on the fencing.

Arguably this could point to a change in materials, but as we've learned, those are often subject to change anyway. Massing appears to be the same.

I didn't get pictures of it but they've put up a long line of display boards along the boardwalk around Murphys. They talk about the cladding and the stone and metal. All the same stuff that was mentioned when it was first shown to the public.

You can see where the residential building begins on the right hand side of the picture where the floor height drops.

It came down on the Lower Water St side but is now up along Bedford Rowe.

Pouring cement early this Saturday morning. Nice to see this progress faster than expected....unlike say the Roy, where excavation started in Dec 2014.

Work is now well underway on the central pier.

And the boardwalk is going in around the first.

I'll agree with this based on what Lower Water looked like 5-7 years ago but to say I'm "wow'ed" no...
