Where would you want to live internationally?

If you could pick any city in the world (outside of the country you reside in) to live, where would it be? For me it'd be Vancouver or Toronto, Canada or Tokyo, Japan. I've been obsessed with those cities since I was a teenager.

Monaco. If I had the wealth, its just paradise. I was there a few years ago, and its just a picturesque location. An absolute playground for the very rich.

I like winter and know French, and Montreal is still on the North American continent to be nearer family.

If money was no object: Paris.

Sao Paulo or Salvador Bahia. Or Brasilia or Manaus (Rio is notably absent but I could change my mind). In other words, Brasil is highly favorable to me, my dream country to relocate to.

My next career move will likely coincide with a move to France. Probably with Paris as a base, though I could happily live in Lyon or Bordeaux.

Considering I'm living internationally where I want to be now, if I can't choose Shanghai then I'd choose Taipei or Dublin.

Ideally, a city where I'd never need an A/C or a Heater any time of the year, that would be heaven!

I researched that, long ago, and I came up with Guatemala City (5000 feet in altitude explains it) or Medellin or Cali Colombia, both cities with altitudes in the 4000 foot range.

And I hope someone comes along and suggests San Diego, and I'll be laughing the rest of the day!

Probably somewhere Down Unduh, Mate.

Perth, Brisbane/Gold Coast have always been of interest.
Also wouldn't rule out some New Zealand cities.

Argentina. Probably a smaller centre like Bariloche or maybe further south like Punta Arenas instead of Buenos Aires. El Calafate was a pretty nice size when I was there and ridiculous scenery.

What is the appeal of Monte Carlo? Bad food, ugly condos, everything overpriced, and overrun with third world gangsters.

French/Italian Riveria are great, but the only appeal of Monaco is tax avoidance (IMO). Aix, Antibes, Avignon are more my speed.

places to realistically work and raise kids? some of these seem more like extended vacations or retirement. i raise my hand for the antipodal commonwealth.
