Per CRTKL's Instagram feed, they are hard at work on the cantilevered pool at Oceanwide Plaza.

Wow, when did they move the Expo Park soccer field? It used to be situated further north.

[QUOTE=bhunsberger;8082606]Great photos! So, I noticed the other day that they replaced the standard huge ad print outs on Marriott/Ritz building facing LA Live with a huge screen. Is this true, or am I thinking wrong? I really hope they fill in some perfect spots on the Staples Center with screens as well. Really make the area feel alive!

The huge screen on Ritz/Marriott facing LA Live has always been there. What I did notice, is that they got rid of the Coca Cola ad on the Ritz and the beer ad on JW Marriott.

Morrison House of Music/ Hard Rock Hotel

Anyone know if this is ever going to happen?

Probably and hopefully not. That proposal is ugly and tacky as hell.

I kind of love it, mostly just because of how it preserves the older structures around it. What's the source for that proposal, I have never seen it before?

Awwww I really liked those ads... maybe not the ads but the fact that there was a video screen ad embedded on the actual glass. Maybe they’re just changing the product?? It was unique and something never seen in LA before LA Live even existed.

No, thats the thing. There is a big screen there currently. I thought I only ever saw the big coca cola ad there. I thought the screen was recent. I guess I just don't pay as much attention as I think I do. hahah

More pushback against high density development in WeHo. 96 units gets knocked down to 72.

It's like we don't have a housing crisis at all.

Gavin Newsom has the right idea about punishing cities that don't meet housing goals.

Took this photo yesterday! Wanted to share. I hate that the wires are in the way, though.

JerellO, looks like they have Jumpman23's logo on the Ritz, but will it go back to the tacky Coca Cola logo?

Barry Shy is waving his hand again, not sure if we should take him seriously or even bother to aknowledge him and his continuous false starts...... but apparently his new tower near the Ace hotel may start sometime after the spring. Hes waiting on two more hearings in mid spring and expects construction to start soon after (similar stuff we've heard and been told before with his other projects). If it were anybody else but him, i'd probably be excited. The tower itself is blah, at best, its great infill.

Any new photos of Onni's 820 S. Olive? Must be getting close to topping out pretty soon. That tower will stand tall over the immediate area.
