The crane added a couple more segments. Is this the final height, Bombardier?

After jump today. You can see at least four sections above the core here, which we've agreed are about 20' each. I think there is at least 80' then to the bottom of the crane, maybe more with the perspective which makes estimating hard.

The core will be limited by the crane arm height, but I am wondering if the architectural top may be another 20 feet or so from top of core. Just trying to find a few extra feet

We need Steely_Dan to get back to the MC roofdeck and take another pic with a more eye level view.

Got into town yesterday and took a long (chilly) walk up to Portillos in River North. This thing is a beast, and definitely shows its presence. Knowing it still has a bit to go before topping out makes me even more excited to see the final height presence.

Any idea on how much more height is still left? With the crane topped out, I would imagine 50-75 ft?

Edit: nevermind, just saw rivernorthlurker's post!

Awesome pics, thanks!

90/94 SB has to be the best views of the skyline, hands down. LSD NB by McCormick would probably take 2nd place.

Vista + OCS. What an impact over the last couple of years from this angle.

The renders all focused on the height, but that base is wide. I did not expect that impact.

^ wow, what a shot!

i love the juxtaposition of messy common brick alley fire escapes with modern shimmering glass towers looming in the distance.

Photos from today. The sun was glorious! One Chicago is really making a huge impact.

Sorry for the links. I've pulled my hair out trying to figure out the image posting process.

Any advice?

New apartments near Union Park, i had to think about that one too. I lived in the West Loop a long time. Just amazing to see such developments like that surrounding Union Park so quickly. I guess with the Ashland stop there and a park it is a good stop. That area just seemed so run down before though. Area can change quick when you have 4 or 5 major projects go up real quick.
