I'm sure the loses were in north central and the north east parts of the city . Center City and the adjoining neighborhoods made hefty advances . As the near by suburbs face property devaluations it's easier for people traped in the ghettos to flee .

So maybe the Navy Yard for Chemours (or elsewhere),
...was hoping for something vertical, and in Center City or UC.

Fishtown stuff, 4-2

York & Gaul: Going to be a pizza restaurant, I think-

Tulip & Palmer: Factory rehab; glad to see this building get saved-

Sepviva & Norris-

Norris & Blair-

Berks & Wildey-

Girard-

Moyer-

Casino Expansion-

Frankford: Looks like this is starting soon, but I think those "basement town homes" might be a hard sell-

Also on Frankford: (Saw several other foundations around Fishtown today, either recently poured, or being poured)-

Great to see this. Classic example of why I love these old factory lofts - their clean modern design and strong frames lend themselves to contemporary rehabs.

So I finally downloaded imgur...

Clemons has started its internal gut of the old mini mart at 15 & Walnut (exterior next!) Sorry for the poor picture quality. Hard to get in there.

You need to put image tags right before and after--and on the same line with--EACH image URL, and nothing else (and you can't group them together as you did). So right before each image URL (with no space) you put the opening image tag:

and right after each image URL (again with no space) you put the closing image tag:

[/img]

And then the actual image--and not just the image URL--will appear in your post.

OR, a shortcut is to click the image button (the yellow mountain and sun image) at the top of the posting window, and then just paste the image URL into the window that pops up (you have to do it a separate time for each image URL), and that will put the image tags around the image URL.

Thanks Philly Fan! I've gone back and edited to fix this. Still not displaying quite right...I'll try and go back later to address.

PREIT bought the building and is doing hi-end retail there, at least on the first and probably 2nd floors.

I think they will be putting a Wendy's there.

Just got a zoning meeting notice for proposed projects on Delaware Ave:

1) 1100 N Delaware Ave
Proposal for a 12-story building with residential (180 apartments, 12 townhomes, 205 parking spaces) and ground floor office and retail.

2) 1212 N Delaware Ave
Proposal for a 6-story building with retail on ground floor, offices, and 27 apartments

Anyone hear of this before? I may have missed mention of it...

First I'm hearing of it

But as long as they're not knocking down that beautiful old building at the corner of Delaware and Shackamaxon I'm all in favor!

^ There's a thread on fishtown.us where it's stated that the old Edward Corner building (the one you just mentioned) would be taken down for the new project.
