Someone should re-post a picture of the teal-colored mobile crane that started it all.

This tower was clearly visible from Algon Ave just north of Rhawn St in NE Philadelphia earlier today. The blinking LED on the spire top looked pretty cool.

Not a great picture from a train, but as mentioned by TK2001 the crane on the south side is gone.

This was an early teal crane, but there were earlier cranes as well, like the yellow one.

I’m tellin ya, the best view of the whole skyline is now from the Vare ave entrance to the 76 West, since you get a similar view as from the South St bridge, but with Roberts and FMC in the view too. Not sure of a safe way to take pics from there though.

If it wasn't previously mentioned here - a no doubt great restaurant will be moving into CTC

Award-Winning Chef Greg Vernick to Open Restaurant in New Comcast Technology Center Skyscraper

"The oyster bar Vernick Fish is the first of four restaurants that will be a part of the Four Seasons' newest offerings in the state-of-the-art Comcast Technology Center."

"Vernick Fish will remain at street level, offering accommodations for up to 200 guests both day and night, including both indoor and outdoor patio seating, communal and private dining and an energetic bar."

Trying to picture exactly where that might go?

I'm very curious as to how the entire sidewalk experience will be. The enormous scale of this tower makes me wonder about the streets below. Will business be opening onto Arch Street?

Vernick Fish is going to be in the 4 Seasons??. I also heard there's 3 other restaurants in the building. Maybe some will be on the ground level.

the article says street level, patio seating, trying to visualize where that would go, the building takes up pretty much the entire parcel unlike Comcast which has that large apron on the south side.

I see...makes sense. Not sure if these two additional articles will help with your visualization.

The only "patio" that I'm aware of is the outdoor terrace for the ballroom level (about the third floor) over the business lobby entrance. I think the hotel entrance will just be a circular drive. Since the South side is for loading docks, the only other spot is the storefronts along Arch Street. It's going to be a very narrow "patio" if so.

Great pics MrSaturn!
They really show the amazing geometric variations of this building. As folks have said, it will always look different, depending on lighting and viewpoint.

It looks like they finally have all the blue tape off the east end. The interplay of horizontal and vertical here does many things, including making it more intimate than the huge scale of the whole building.
