Awsome pictures! There are also some really nicely lit houses in the Rockcliffe Park area that I need to take some shots of. The NCC always does a good job keeping the Christmas lights classy and not overdoing it.

I like that last photo, Matt. The reflection off of the groundwork is very neat.

Were these taken last week just after our snowfall?

agreed. Went by parliament on Sunday night, the lights were very nice.

ken - took them Saturday night actually.. suprised at how much show is on the ground there in Otown

Now I'm feeling nostalgic for winter in Ottawa and skating on the canal.

Speaking of the canal: what are those scaffolding for that they have assembled on the canal? I can't for the life of me remember them ever being there when I was last in Ottawa during the winter. As I recall, they just dumped extra snow on that part.
