A Year In Pittsburgh

So Ive lived here for a little over a year now so its about time I make another thread. I dont have the time right now to label where all the photos were taken as Im very busy co authoring a book with Preservation Pittsburgh at the moment. But anyways, heres some of my best photos Ive taken over the past year of the city and surrounding region. Ive posted some of these before but oh well. Please visit my facebook page all about Western PA history where I have all of these photos and way more and go into depth about the history of all these places Ive photographed. This thread may blow up your computer with how big it is, sorry.

awesome. makes me want to go visit. sadly it probably won't be for 18-20 months until that's possible. maybe i'll luck out and work'll hold some training there, like how i got to seattle last year.

Well I probably wouldn't be living in pittsburgh if it weren't for my visit to STL like 4 years ago where I first fell in love with bricks and mid western grunge.

I use a nikon d700 but it's not the camera that takes the photos it's the photographer. And thank you.

Stunning work! I keep imagining a wind suddenly kicking up in the picture with the book on the floor and turning those pages to some secret text.

True, kinda. The V1 will never be a D700 and you probably don't use it as your mainstay for work.
