Had a great time exploring the wonderful park. What a gem for the city. Boy we are Lucky!
Get out and enjoy it this weekend.The sun will be out.

On the bridge walking over the train tracks is a glass wall with spots that make up clouds.They are like pixels and looking through was a nice shot of wamu tower and others.

That perspective of Eagle with the water in the background is suddenly one of Seattle's iconic postcard images, though it's copyrighted. How many years before a movie features a short scene there?

Great pics but was there an edit I missed:

What's this about?

The only crane I see in the "before last pic" is the crane on the waterfront for the aquarium.

To answer: "whats with the last pic?" - This is the vivarium located at the edge of the park on Broad Street.

Awesome set! I think I left too soon - I missed a couple of sections of the park. We're supposed to have great weather for the next couple of days, so that may call for a trip back...

I agree with the Eagle comment. That vista is breathtaking and I love the Seattle Cloud Cover photograph with the skyline in the background. The cantilevered portion of the southwest platform near the Father and Son sculpture is awesome. It reminds me of the diving board at the Central Library. Great collection.

It was alot of fun down there. I could just keep adding more photos but not enough time in the day.
I do agree that the eagle and water is a great postcard image everyone was taking the same photo. It will not take long before we see this park on the big screen.

Its a Huge Tree that they got from the Cascades. Its full of little plants and I guess...An Ecosystem to study.
