^Nice, thanks for sharing. The structure looks almost like an office layout with the rebar/concrete columns and the core elevator/stair structures.

I haven't been inside but the Pendry hotel in Baltimore is very nice. This will be a great addition for West Hollywood.

None of the Page Museum designs are any good. I need one that is both architectually innovative and preserves the design, or at least the sculptural frieze of the original building. Only one of the proposals does so, but the rest of the design is lacking. I would have loved to see some Los Angeles based firms enter the competition, but I suppose mediocre prestige triumphs all.

Drove by the Martin Cadillac development site this morning. All of the cars and trucks have been cleared from their lot and there were a few workers cleaning up the site. Looks like development will start soon (months?? weeks??)

Oh wow... for some reason, I never really thought this would happen. I thought maybe the current owner was trying to build a vision to sell to a developer. That area is very anti-development, so it's amazing that this made it through all the legal hurdles. Maybe our auto-centric soul can be saved after all

This will be a great development. I think the dealership will do better in the new location anyways.

Someone else said they were at the 10th floor, I was just posting the thread with the most recent pictures. You can see the cores though, definitely coming along.

Millennial "9-5" office workers who are homeless, yes. This will provide them space when their company office has none
