Also look at the cladding going on the podium. Looks decent making me hopeful for the complex.
I don't agree those are "boring machines"... pretty damn exciting imo.

That phase one channel cladding looks good and I think the swoosh of 2 different balcony claddings (south elevation below) will mitigate any window wall mistakes as they are inset. Phase One is a bit forgotten because of its (not so puny) 217m height ;-)

Give him a break. Close enough to what we colloquially call them.

It's a great day on SSP. LOL. I missed nothing. Same with you getting tuckered out climbing a 7 metre per kilometre incline.

It is a pile boring machine eventhough we call them, incorrectly, shoring machines.

Apologies, my car broke down on the Don Valley Parkway and I'm exhausted from climbing up Chester Hill to get a coffee.

The best pancakes have crevices to soak up the maple syrup. Downtown Toronto would be more interesting with crevices too.

My goal was to mess around with Drew anyways but, it didn't go past an emoji.

(in a whisper voice) OK I'm beginning to grudgingly accept you may have some sort of alien planet sense of humour, but it's way above my pay grade. I stick to the KISS humour principle which I clearly demonstrate in most posts.

But the "crevices' joke didn't land for me, 'cause my signature speaks to hundreds of ravines. Ravines are at least wannabe crevices no?

THE ONE 309m/85 storeys
Hopefully this hints of the structural steel’s arrival soon. The 4 yellow supports lying on-site will be vertical, presumably to support the 45 degree angled steel from the super columns.

KISS maybe giving simplistic word plays too much credit. I didn't expect to have to include a cipher. Yeah, crevices = valleys... flat pancake = Toronto.

Notwithstanding, the post that is the basis of your signature was talking about downtown Toronto. Obviously there are a few valleys here in there that are included in the urban built form instead of bypassed with bridges. There's the old shoreline too that I summit nearly everyday.

I'm sure you've wandered from the pancake portion of The Beach (aka The Beaches) north up the inclines... not an easy stroll (and getting harder). There's even some cool crevices in the hood.

Not stunning, no. Too wide for that.

But cool looking, yes.

^That's all subjective. CIBC Square IMO is the nicest office tower to go up in Canada in the last generation. Once that glass gets cleaned and the accent LED lights turn on it will turn even more heads. Add a twin tower in there... every tourist in the city will be taking pictures.

Agree....she is one of the nicest towers i have ever seen. LED lights will make it seriously come alive.

I feel like we could see our first structural steel arrive this weekend. These were posted yesterday on urbantoronto.ca

The temp supports are in place.

Dollarama Bank of China already exists in Wuxi … it was even actually built for BofC.
