Indeed. The placard is dated 8/3/22

Hmmm... interesting. I believe this was going to be the residential entrance for the building. Maybe they're simply shifting the entrance to Chestnut Street and putting the Foodery on 18th Street then. Either way, happy to see the Foodery return and fill a vacant retail spot!

Yep, wrong building, but look at the lack of a sidewalk or barriers in the street to create a walking space. L&I hard at work. Considering the money the contractor is supposed to paying to close the sidewalk, if they even bother getting a permit, one would think L&I could stop by, even do just a drive by, to see if all the conditions are being honored.

Somebody will end up dying then City Council will have hearings and the whole useless cycle will repeat itself. It hurts to see how poorly this city is run in so many areas.

Haven't seen much movement on this one. May have to move back to proposal section if we don't see movement shortly.

A shame, if so. It looked promising.

Maybe it’s on hold because they might increase the height?

We're going to move this one back to proposals since there hasn't been an update on this in a while.

Update? False Alarm?

Can't tell if there's any new news here, but an update nonetheless

Seems to be a typical nonsense YIMBY article. The black wall and sign have been up for a year or so.

But hopefully one day soon work will start.
