I'm not sure there is a concrete answer for that. The price per piece will be less or more depending on quantity of a specific form. So for example if the curve changes over the height of the building requiring a different form at each level the cost would be significantly more than if the same curve is able to be replicated for every piece of curved cladding.

Think about the curved glass on the Apple Store, and how much the may have cost, and then go vertical.

This is my point. Why bother designing curved glass if the developer is going to very likely VE it out? I.e. don't bother unless you get a convincing blessing to do so? Or just include the curves on principle because you're the architect, and it's your design?

The video doesn't show the horribly oppressive shadows a building of this height will cast on Grant Park!

I like the building, even if it isn't as good as the original design.

In this photo one can imagine Metra riders looking out the window and going from sunlight to shadow and than back to full sun. The softball fields will likely be unusable after 1 pm. This building might even make Lollapalooza pull up it stakes and move out of the state for a more sunny location.

This other pic one can imagine the enormous shadows it will cast on the friends of the park.

I love how this soars above One Museum Park. I remember back in 2005 when we all thought how tall that tower was.

When 1000 S Michigan along with One Grant Park and its potential partner tower tops out, that corner of the park will be taller and more dense than most downtowns in the USA.

The glass looks curved to me.

This tower is beautiful.

So i watched the video and do not see where they're using curved glass anywhere!

It's not in the new video/design. I think that's what he ment. It got VE'd out from the earlier renders.

A few pages back someone linked a Forbes article stating construction would begin “Fall 2018”. Every other source I’ve seen simply says 2018 with delivery in 2021.
