September 26th, from zdf2118 skyscrapers.cn

There is a rumored height increase that would put the West Tower at 460m and the East Tower at 480m

21 m height increase so close to the topping out ?
I don't think so.

I wouldn't mind is the "twin" was taller.

It actually has a way to go. I would doubt a change if they were to begin the hotel atrium, but the core is still rising, so it is possible that an additional 21m could be seen.

Actually, the core should have been topped out by now, the atrium is supposed to be 34 floors, and I think they are past the 70th floor now.

If that's true, that changes everything.
I remember that, at the very beginning, the foundations were said to be made for a taller structure.

I'm actually a bit disappointed with the cladding. I always assumed that the tower would also get some external cross elements like 30St Mary Axe. The tower would look so much better with them.

But they are visible through the cladding.
I bet the night views will reveal the pattern magnificently.

I kind of like the subtlety as opposed to St. Mary's...and it emphasizes the internal structure as opposed to the external cladding just mimicking it. What worries me is the glass appears a little bit boring. Its almost too opaque/dark to serve its function. Though, it still could work. I need to see more of it to get a good idea of if it works or not.

Cool facade. It will looks awesome in a sunny day. Too bad these beauties couldn't get built in Chicago. They would look amazing in the skyline! And I think somebody should make more diagrams for this city, they don't seem to have many drawn building even though they have many.

In a nice way, I think. It looks very smooth and perfect. I think the HK Union Square has just been taken off the spot by this beauty. It looks much better than US if you ask me.

I'll wait until both are finished. This one might be a little too dark.

What a beauty! That prominent skeletal structure gives me a happy feeling, just looking at it. Straightforward, simple, elegant, almost Chicago-like. Looks like really nice glass too, from the pics.

Should look fantastic at night.

It looks like a giant shiny dildo, just my two cents.

What an elegant tower - this one is definitely one of my favs currently under construction! I can't wait to see it completed.
