John H. McClatchy building, Upper Darby, PA: in a commercial hub around the west terminal of the Market Street el, just over the Philadelphia city line, it's not the prettiest thing, or the best example of deco, but they sure went crazy with that ornament:

the stained glass window makes the most use of deco motifs:

I've read that Bombay also has a sizeable Deco district. Any pictures of that one?

You're right, LITZ, that John H. McClathchy building as a whole is very overblown but a close-up of the details shows they had the right idea and craftsmanship but...jeeeze, they needed to pull back just a little. It looks like a giant wedding cake.

Some more from the Buffalo, NY area:

This is a small 2 storey office/retail building with some good Art Deco details.

The Rand Building, which somewhat resembles the Empire State Building although completed two years earlier.

The long abandoned but now undergoing restoration United Office Building in Niagara Falls, NY, was the tallest building in that city until last year.

The former Industrial Bank

Former Courier Express newspaper building

Former Pierce-Arrow (later Cadillac) dealership, now a bank, note the original 1930's Pierce-Arrow on display inside.

The small Vars office building.

An abandoned bank on the city's East Side.

Details of a Davenport, IA building showing where late neo-classical meets very early Deco (circa 1923)

Don, I like that old Victor better. First I've seen pictures of it before being abandoned.

The new one can be seen here: http://hotelvictorsouthbeach.com

Awesome thread, Art Deco is easily my favorite architecture style.

Does anyone have any more pictures of the interiors of Art Deco buildings?

Speaking of interiors, does anyone know where you can buy Art Deco style pieces to furnish your house? I am often wondering if there are still companies that make pieces inspired by Art Deco, or if you have to resort to antiques?

I'd forgot completely about bridges. While definitely not the most memorable, Detroit/Windsor's Ambassador Bridge is an Art Modern piece:
