Ah yes the Rogers building. It does need a reclad, I think it's needed a reclad ever since it was built.

A candidate for top 5 ugliest skyscrapers in downtown no doubt.

If only the provincial traffic light standards were updated so we could ditch those awful oversized yellow shields behind the traffic lights, Id agree

I like the two rows on the left side. Shorter older and taller newer.

Just like it's ugly brother in Toronto. Rogers. Ugly on the inside and outside. Negative option billing.

Yep, King Street, along with all the other big E-W arteries between Queen and Front, has gone full Midtown.

Not bad for a city that was the size of Stockholm when Midtown first became Midtown.

Looking again, OK, it's gone 1996 Midtown. NY hasn't stood still, although it hasn't been moving like Toronto has. I'd replace those smaller towers on the corner of Yonge for the full Manhattan hit.

Sue me but I'd give this building an 7.5/10 if the Logo wasn't so prominent. Canada seems to be cursed with buildings with overly prominent logos.

But I love pink granite and green together. It's so late 80s/early 90s.

The finishings on the Rogers Toronto building make it look like a super-sized Jack and the Beanstalk version of a wedding banquet hall in Vaughan or something.

St-Jacques Street as seen from Place d'Armes, February 23rd.

I think St-Jacques is now my favourite street canyon in Canada.

They are not dreadful to people living in Montréal.

Weren't there flags from other countries on those things a while ago? Like as a nod to the united nations building or something?

Maybe not really a canyon but I liked this Barrington Street shot from Halifax. It is a mix of highrises and older 3-6 storey buildings, mostly heritage buildings that hopefully will never be redeveloped into highrises. A portion of this street is under viewplanes which restrict development down to 6 floors or so to preserve views.

There's a gap visible on the left (where you can see a purple tentacle on a mural), the Press Block development site.
