Interestingly i did study 'technical drawing' as we call it in study but my teacher was an asshole and i left it.. yes you Mr Morley I chose home science then went on to be a chef. I'm 28 and not sure if you all know that.

Piolo just came from making names in a Homer Simpson kind of way!

Lol you'll be there before ya know it

Since everyone seems to like history and i am not very good at it i'll use real companies, Australian owned unless stated otherwise.

Left to right towers,

- Westpac banking corp., Est.1817 (as Bank of NSW - 1982 as Westpac) 40 fl / 227m to spire. Rebuilt 2007.

- Macquarie Group Limited (formerly Macquarie Bank Limited) Est 1970. 52 fl / 198m to roof. 2004

- RACQ - Royal Auto Club Queensland, Est 1905. 47 fl / 220m to roof. 1992

- Aon Group GGC. 57 fl / 240m. 1996. Foreign owned

- Bank of Queensland. Est. 1874. 39 fl / 150m. 2004.

- AGL - Australian Gas and Lighting. Est 1837. 36 fl/ 135m - 1993 - Windows are supposed to be burgundy colour grr.

.

one great thing about ur skyline is the placing of your towers..luv that thier not all cramped together,u leave nice gaps here n there, giving all the buildings great height...so too the skyline...looks impressive....plus where do you gat the not too cloudy skys

All those buildings are very beautiful, but the Macquarie Group Limited especially catches my eye. I can't be more specific, but it's simply breathtaking!

Thanks dudes - The Macquarie Group building will go for some more window detail along with HSBC which is actually hiding behind Aon tower there in the pic, but nothing else i have made in the past will come into this city apart from the Piolo tower from the comp.

The focus is having the infrastructure/layout/density of Dubai but as a business district/centre (minus the environmental impact).

Those are awesome. I like your city planning. And the wayy you plan on designing your city grids and whatnot.

I would suggest adding some Miami styled towers, or Hong Kong styled residential towers while. You know, the residential towers are mostly plain with small windows while the office towers are glass and fancy. I don't mean fill it like this, but some 'solid' looking buildings would add a better and more realistic feeling to the city.

feeel the same way, but i'm 24. I always knew we were the only geezers, and southern hemispherists, in this subforum (I think Dac's a little younger but IDK)

On the city: It just looks so consistent and realistic, I love your BIG AUSTRALIAn concept of doing big blocks, a lot of air flowing through the towers and so on.
As always: hat off sir
