Keith can hate all he wants, but the reality is that the Halifax Central library keeps winning international accolades.

It's arguably our one WORLD CLASS asset.

What the media doesn't want you to know is that all 5 people who visited the library yesterday fell down the stairs and died.

In other news, 5 positions just opened up at CBC.

It looks like one of those alien space vehicles in War of the Worlds that sucked up humans in a giant vacuum and consumed them for food.

Five years since the library was officially opened...6.5 million visits and 42,166 new library cards registered.

I visited Calgary's new library this year and noticed how it drew a lot from the Central Library's design. Calgary's library uses a lot of wood which is great, but the layout, glass and top floor of Central library make it so much more appealing.

This development improved the overall design of new buildings in Halifax. I can only imagine where we would still be without it.
