Best Photographer On This Site

Okay, just thought this would be a good spot to post this.
There are so many great photographers on this site, that I feel there should be some sort of kudos given..Maybe through some sort of voting sytem,we can all start a donation to be given to the best photographer at the end of this year.

Yay Nay?

My vote so far would go to Mr. John

Maybe an administrator can set something up..People vote throughout the year, and maybe people can donate through pay-pal as an award to the winner....Set it up so you can only vote once.

It's not an exact science, it would be a matter of opinion. Meaning the best you can get is a vote on it.

yes..Just thought it would be a nice gesture or kudos..There are some great photographers on here, but maybe "best" was the wrong wording and approach..Most appreciated set maybe..

There are too many to choose from.

this is one of those things that depends on way to many factors to have an actual, without question, winner. its is far to subjective to be that clear-cut. that much is true; however, if i had to pic a favorite that is actualy talented enuf to win in or to be on the leading edge of most of for mentoned factors, my pic would have to be Desert Driver . his work on Dubai is astonishing to say the least. his shots are of a quality few can match. getting every drop out of his equipment, DD seems to take pictures with a uncanny quality & clearity. i believe that his equipment could never be aproved apon if it were being used by any other photographer that posts here or anywhere on the web. . his night-shots are second to none imo. i often say to myself, " Nasa, if they ever send a man to mars, or even back to the moon, really needs to have this guy train the astronaughts or better yet, train Desert Driver." i coudnt be more serious about that staitment. by doing so, woud be treated to photos of those places that actualy look as close to real as humanly possible. thanks DD for all the great pictures and you have my vote for our top photographer. that is an impressive feat concidering the list of photographers that lurk this form. cheers.
PS: i am very sorry for what is most likely, aweful spelling and grammer.

At one time the site was awash with amazing talent, but there are some photographers who don't seem to post as much lately. Kilgore Trout, Segun, Paradox21, and ColDayMan are among my favoutires but they post very few threads now.

How is this a city discussion? What's the point of having categories? This is a good example of lack of understanding of the core competency of systems based practice.

This is like a city Vs. City discussion, only more personal.

You sesquipedalian types make me laff.

Now is there any way we can vote on the best set somehow, or is it pointless?..Mods, admin?

I_am_hydrogen has some unbelievably crisp, detailed photographs and his use of color is amazing.

okayyou and flash would get get my vote. Photolith is up there too. I really like the subject matter and style of flar's posts as well - very cohesive as a post more than any one photograph if that makes sense.

There's probably more I'm forgetting, there are a ton of great photographers on this site. I wish I wasn't so lazy and stopped making photo threads...

Okayyou & Sabotai.

Of course, KingoftheHill, Giallo, Giovanni, Xander, Flash, and PhotoLith - among others - also come to mind.
