Maybe he meant mini as in height?

Also it's not that we've forgotten how, its due to FAR in midtown.

It's more like a sliver of Manhattan. Atlanta is starting to become impressive, as far as accumulating density.

I was just thinking of it as a silver lining of density. Half a mile wide isn't great, but when we have more infill around the BeltLine and along the main corridors between the BeltLine, Midtown, and Downtown, it'll be a nice urban friendly city.

I am in absolute agreement with you. Atlanta is well on its' way, in that regard.

That whole buildout has/will add a couple thousand residents right near MARTA. Really nice addition. To note, the mid rise portion of Oak Valley doesn’t appear to be rising yet (west of the parking deck) and the flatiron does not yet appear to be under construction, either.

With the new Norfolk Southern HQ and Portman's projects, maybe we will see an ongoing development boom surrounding the AT&T and BOA towers.
Maybe we can all witness a new skyline developing between midtown and downtown and when we are all 90 years old, maybe they will start to merge together in one skyline.
We just need to alter the midtown development guidlines so we can add a little more height. I would be happy with just a fcouple 30 story towers here and there like Cousins Properties.

All I can say is WOW!
We have to continue to preserve those trees...that's one of the greatest things about Atlanta's vibe!
If you took this same picture of most U.S. cities, you would get mostly roof-tops with a some trees in between.
