Sure, I'd love to draw the Delta.

Seriously though, congrats on taking to this so quickly. Basically every drawing of yours is better than the last and you've got your perspective and shading down-pat. Fantastic job on the courthouse as well.

Holy crap! As much as I hate the courthouse, I love the drawing!

And I agree, your drawings just keep getting better and better FazDeH!

GIMP is a good program. I use Inkscape myself, which is also another free program. Not sure how relevant it is to these drawings though.

Have you been messing around with GIMP's layers, opacity, and layer-masks yet? Those are probably the most important things to learn for drawing quick and easy shadows.

Basically finished the Gartshore Towers. I might still draw the base, but I kind of hate how podiums look on the diagram. I wonder what exactly the rules are when it comes to buildings connected by podium.

I'm actually getting pretty excited about drawing the delta. I have I bit of the outline done already, and I'm looking forward to drawing the armouries and its vines. I also have a bit of the Bell building drawn, so dibs!

You have any buildings you're currently tackling, Fazdeh?

Gartshore looks great! I know what you mean about the connecters, I wouldn't be sure how to handle those

Yes- I've toying around quite a bit about opacity, but haven't really played around with the layers yet.

I'm stoked to see what you can do with the delta... as you can see from my DP, I clearly like the building haha
I have a few UWO buildings done, I'm just waiting for the database to be updated so I can upload them.. I did a fantasy building as well.. I think it'd be interesting to see what you could come up with.
I'm not really sure what else in London is left at this point haha.. I think we may have to start doing diagrams for other cities or trying "vision" buildings,. but that info is always so limited.

If you're looking for a vision building for London, Covet Place is a good one. In the Downtown vision report released last year, it occupied the current parking lot of the JLC: http://www.london.ca/Planning_and_De..._04JAN2012.pdf
-Another vision is the new city hall from that report... although I doubt there is enough to go on for a drawing.

In addition, the central library tower was canceled, so you can make a drawing for that if you want to.

One and Two London Place, as well as the City Centre towers could use a redrawing, as you guys are simply churning out creations far better looking than they . The Renaissance II is not a mirror of the first tower as indicated so it can be drawn as well. The tops of the Talbot Centre towers are now blue... just a quick paint job there.

And yes one fantasy drawing per member per city. Simpseatles does some good hand drawings for London that could be used for fantasy drawings: http://forum.skyscraperpage.com/show...04#post5665704

Anyways those are just some ideas. Of course you can always do stuff for other cities if you want. The Agustus Tower in Windsor is a good candidate... the addition to Casino Windsor.

Woah, awesome job FazDeH and bolognium! We now have more drawings than sizeable places like Edmonton and Winnipeg. I really like the new courthouse diagram. Keep up the great work!

One building that I would love to see added to the diagram is the other red brick apartment building beside Picton Place. I don't know the name, but it has rounded edges and it's shorter than Picton Place. Maybe someone else has a picture, or knows more about it.

If anyone wanted to try one of my fantasy renderings, like haljackey mentioned, that would be cool to see! You could just guess the height based on the number of floors, and be creative with the colouration (although I do have my own idea when I make them).

There are a few buildings for Windsor that could be done.

The Augustus Tower Caesar's Windsor (our tallest and still no diagram:\)

source: http://www.google.ca/imgres?start=97...,r:3,s:97,i:11

The Security Building (which is next to the Metropolitan Building Fazdeh submitted last week. It's sandwhiched between the Metropolitan and the Bartlet building, which is old, and cool, but not overly tall)

Westcourt Place which is a fairly tall and fugly building in downtown Windsor

I finished that diagram and submitted it for approval about 4 days ago... haha

thanks for all the support guys, yes I'm stoked about the fact that our diagram count now exceeds those cities as well! I have 4 that are awaiting approval (ghastly commie blocks... but still), so we're closing in on Mississauga now.

Assuming someone (Fazdeh) doesn't get to Augustus first, I'll also draw that. I promise the first buildings I draw outside of London will be for Windsor, Symz.

@Simps, the building you're talking about is 7 Picton St. And yeah, it's a great little building.

^^^ "Someone (Fazdeh)" haha

I'll take a run at it, but I still find that much glass a little daunting, it might take a little while to come up with something I would now consider satisfactory. I would love doing a building above 40m's for a change though.

I love those three old highrises. On University, they add so much to the core

I've seen that University Hospital has been done.

Anyone want to tackle Victoria Hospital? It's sure to be one sprawling drawing... I still can't believe all those massive parking structures are there by Wellington... does it really need all that parking?

Yes, it does. I've gone there enough and parking was a bitch. Plus they're moving the regional mental health from oxford and highbury to parkwood, so parkwood is getting one (or few) as well.

I finally convinced them to change the Crown on King II from proposed to U/C

See here: http://skyscraperpage.com/diagrams/?cityID=61

Anyone considered drawing the CFPL tv tower? I've seen a lot of tv towers on SSP's diagram list recently and would like to know how it compares with the others.

Anyone want to attempt drawing the SoHo Wellington Centre and/or 560/562 Wellington or is there too little info to go on now?
