[Ancaster] 442 Wilson St E | 6 fl | 19.2 m | Proposed

Brief description of the project:
The applicant is proposing a seven storey retirement home or a six storeymixed use building both concepts include commercialspace at grade, incorporate the use of existing buildings at 442 and 450 Wilson Street East and include and one level of underground parking.

What's with the difference in storey count? Are retirement home storeys counted differently from multi-res storeys? Or are they shrinking slab-to-slab height to 2.75m and adding another storey for the retirement home version?

It's 19.2m according to the elevations views in the package. My apologies, I meant to add that info into the title but forgot and clicked submit!

Thank gawd this is Ancaster. When I saw Wilson I thought central city, replacing some of those smaller old homes near Wentworth.

Not that I don't want to see development along those parts of Wilson, Cannon, etc. Just that this particular one would not have been a good fit there.

unsurprising, and it will got to the OLT and win just like the slate of other midrise approvals coming out of the OLT in the last few months.
