Yeah so far I have made on building and a flag for the city. I may toss in some fiction behind the city to flesh it out.

I will start a separate thread later on when I have something to show.

Edit: Well Dell is more of a low end PC maker, there high ends tend to not give you the right bang for your buck. Unfortunately I can't mention a good alternative. I built my own PC for about 1000$ with similar specs, although I carried over a lot of parts from my last computer (which is the advantage to building your own).

The m9600t seems like a good deal. Don't spend extra a sound card, you don't need it, basic sound is good enough. Try to get 12GB of ram and the 1GB graphics setup. The processor also needs to be pretty good, but you probably don't need the absolute most expensive one because the performance gain is simply not worth the price.

I was able to build something pretty strong without speakers and a monitor for about 1700$. Then again these things are probably cheaper in the states anyway, but you should be able to stay under 2000$ if you don't need a new monitor and speakers.

I personally prefer Radeon for graphics. How much graphics memory did you get? 1gb?

What I meant was did you include the 1gb graphics card in your cost estimate?

I like your building shapes, they are like they are taken from a star wars city.
I think if you put windows ans glasses on them, they are going to look beautiful.
