I'm liking the stone facade on it - ties it into the escarpment.

Looking good. Always good when the final product looks a lot like the renders.

lol sorry, but there ARE reasons you don't build on a landmark that is historically known to erode over time.. we've all seen the warped metal shoring on the sides of the escarpment - you can only stall that so much.. there is also a reason there are falling rocks signs as you go up..

I always question the.. wisdom of this construction.. I mean yes this is one of the rare parts of the escarpment where there is a plateau half way up.. but.. still. Slope stability and all. I know they did tests, but still. It just seems like a risky place to build something. Fingers crossed nothing bad ever happens.

Then again, there are mansions all along the plateau further downtown in hamilton, so what do I know.

Looking pretty good! Not quite as peachy coloured as the renders showed though - it woulda been nice to see a splash of colour... oh well.. still nice regardless

The stone facade looks really nice on it - nice and uniform - and complementing the limestone and shale of the escarpment.

The units facing south will have a nice view too, especially once the trees get leafy.

Maybe the higher units, but the lower ones will mostly get a view of the tree trunks. You can see the south view of a lower floor unit in the Elm model video.

That virtual tour website has such a horrible layout. Here are the direct youtube videos they embed on the site:
