Nice pictures! Thanks for sharing them.

Maybe I should start a new thread for this but the picture taken over the East Exchange made me think of it. If you were king/queen of Winnipeg, what would be your ideal (but still realistic enough) scenario for the parking lots/area south of Lombard Ave and north of the Railside Development (I guess the Portage Ave E area)? I've thought lots about this segment of the city and imagine that once Railside and the exchange are mostly built up it may one day be fairly desirable. I'm curious to hear what others think about it.

Where is that located, exactly? Or, maybe a better question, where does it originate?

I just saw this today in the Canada thread:

I haven't taken the time to post the photo directly, but this tweet has a nice recent photo of downtown:

I sometimes find 300 Main looks a little odd when its photographed with just the P&M towers, but I quite like it when its photographed from wider angles of downtown like this.

God I hope Railside is still going ahead.

300 Main for all it’s apparent controversy is a fine addition to our skyline.

Just need to develop that parking lot on the Old Earls location and get Railside going and we’ll finally start looking like a decent sized city.
