Not in the city, but
St. Andrew's-on-the-Red is one of my favourites. The oldest remaining church building in Western Canada, built in the late 1840s.
Knox and Westminster are definitely up there for their exterior grandeur. Augustine on River Avenue is a little smaller, but has the same level of details and look of permanence. Those wealthier Presbyterian congregations didn't mess around.
St. Luke's Anglican on Nassau is another grand church and a beautiful legacy of Winnipeg's old wealthy set. Stain glass windows donated by Lady Cameron, a
rood screen donated by Lady Nanton...
A number of the city's Ukrainian churches are also incredible. "Wally & Olly" (Vladimir & Olga) on McGregor, Holy Trinity Cathedral on Main, and
Holy Eucharist on Watt, all on the more traditional mid-20th century. The modernist
"St. Nick's" on Bannerman has to be my favourite, perhaps more for its sanctuary space than for its wild jet turbine exterior.
"St. Joe's" on Jefferson is a little more staid, but I still like it.
