I for one, enjoy the sound of a K5LA airhorn.

I like the black / dark gray perimeter trim. That little detail goes a long way on a glass building. It was noticeable driving East toward Center City.

Here you guys seen this wild looking 385 ft apt tower in St. Louis! designed by the Jeanne Gang? It's StL, falls into that 300-400ft range so popular with developers here, an apt building ... but NOT a rectangle! and stunning.

Indeed. If it can be done there, it can be done here. Just takes imagination, creativity, boldness and money.

One of my favorite bldgs is the Beekman Tower. Check out the video for an interesting analysis of the cladding of the bldg.

We need developers and architects to take risk with bold designs. Hopefully in the next building boom cycle, we get a few.

The tower crane has been taken down from the north building.
Has it gone up for the south tower yet?

I saw this tower up close a few days ago, it does look nice.

I wish it was a little taller and slimmer, but it will be a nice project and the black trim adds do much to the building. The South tower will be 4 stories taller, which will help the massing.

Plus once the huge Giant opens, it will be great at street level.

This building does a lot for the Spring Garden Bridge view. Obviously that view was already incredible but this adds even more glass density to the riverfront. When the second RW Tower goes up, followed shortly thereafter by the, what, like 3?? additional towers in that area, it'll be incredible. To see the skyline filled out so much as Schuylkill yards begins to rise is just *chef's kiss*

While it's just a glass rectangle from that vantage point, the higher quality glass/cladding and the black border that frames it helps give it minimal appeal.

Also, the core for the 2nd adjacent bldg is rising nicely.

There is also a pattern in the color of the vertical strips which creates interesting affects under some lighting conditions.
