In Halifax a lot of people rent, even though houses are not too expensive, and the rental buildings can be quite nice. In Vancouver pretty much all of these buildings would be condos.

Progress at Zibi. Right side of the river is the Gatineau shoreline, while the left side is Ottawa. First condo building in Ottawa is nearly complete. Two new towers are currently u/c (office in Ottawa, rental in Gatineau).

A temporary drive-in theatre will be established at Zibi, in an effort to liven-up Le Vieux Hull while encouraging physical distancing. They will use the large empty space seen on the image, which hosted Cirque du Soleil in 2017 and 2019. Part of the proceeds will go to the Manne de l'Île food bank. Opening date has not been announced, but the government of Quebec will allow drive-ins across the province to open on May 29.
