Great pics! I have to say that this is one of my favourite new developments, and very prominent from so many parts of the city. I hadn't realized that it would be so visible from streets like Dutch Village, Connaught, etc.

I remember thinking the same thing coming back to the city after Christmas! It's going to be interesting to see Richmond Yards given the visibility of Monaghan Square and Point North from there.

Source. I hope this sets a precedent for slimmer towers across the peninsula. I think it looks great.

Agreed. We could use about 10 more of these on peninsula lots.

While we say there isn't much land... how big is this lot, really? Such buildings could solve the housing crisis.

Not the best picture but I liked how it kind of looks like a new mini-skyline

Such a great development. Mall has had a proposal for major redevelopment (including new residential) so this fits well with that

Hopefully some nice retail on the ground floor. Ran by it today and they took down all the cement blocks/wall in front. Some trees in the new dirt patch will be nice, hopefully.

Landscaping + paving finished up last week, balconies and the vertical columns are beginning to go in now. Looks great, my only gripe so far is the external AC units.

Having a driving range out front could be a real selling point.

Are those bottom floors offices? They have large heat pump units with multiple heads connected which could technically service more than one residential unit... Would hate to share with a neighbor as you couldn't run heat/AC at the same time.

Lots of work on the ground floor / retail space lately. I wonder what's going in there.

It looks like occupancy is now happening for this one.

The lighting on the top is active at night now. I saw a post that it was green for St. Patrick's day. Here it is last night (a little grainy).

I saw these lights changing colour the other night while driving past - in my opinion, the changing colours were a little too disco and started approaching Vuze-level tackiness. Personal taste only - I suppose some find flashing colours on buildings exciting.

I don't mind a themed colour (St. Patrick's Day green, for example), it's the rapid colour changes that seem a bit off to me. And seems out of step for a building by a "serious" architect like MacKay Lyons Sweetapple. I guess once they spec colour-changing lights, there's no guarantee the developer won't try to do something "fun" with them...
