Simtropolis Question

All right, so I've been downloading a lot of stuff from www.simtropolis.com and one of the ones I came upon was the Artic Terrain and Snow Capped Mountain. Now I decided that I'm tired of the Artic Terrain look so I want to uninstall this, how do I do this? I've gone into my plugins folder and could not find it? Where is it? How do I get it back to grass?

Well it's pretty simple to delete that... All you have to do is go to My Documents/Simcity 4/Plugins...

If it's not in there, you might also want to go to your Plugins folder this time in your Program Files/Maxis/Plugins folder instead My Documents.

If you're lucky the file is the last one installed, then you could possibly sort to last date modified. If you know the file name it would be better off and much easier to find.

Anyway it's either in these 2 locations and nothing else, gotta check thoroughly.

P.S, why would nobody comment on my city I made on that post??!!

All right now something else is wrong. I have downloaded like shopping malls, and grocery stores and their parking lots are just grass. How do I get it to be normal parking lots?

You're probably missing dependencies---as in a file you need for the plugin to work, which in this case is probably a texture for the parking lot. They're very easy to download and should be mentioned in the plugin's description.

well when you downloaded the file there shoulldve been a readme included, or go back to the page on simtropolis. Anyways, all necessary files should be linked.

Okay, call me crazy, but I was you i'd delete everything and start over, this time looking over the dependencies. Just would make things easier

when you've got everything you want all together, there's this tool called DATpacker on a site called sc4devotion, that will condense your plugins and your game will run faster

Haha start over! There is so much stuff you need it's crazy! And BullShitCrap didn't help with all of their goddamn dependencies!

I can't wait until one of those greedy bastards starts charging people and Maxis shuts them down. I just know it's going to happen.
