Future Haynes and Boone headquarters breaks ground in Uptown

Work has begun on Harwood No. 14, the latest office project by Dallas-based Harwood International.

The 27-story, 360,000-square-foot tower will be located along Hunt Street between N. Harwood Street and Harry Hines Boulevard. Designed by a team featuring Tokyo-based architects Kengo Kuma and Associates and Dallas-based Corgan, the project will include outdoor terraces, multiple pocket parks, a 17,000-square-foot rooftop and sky garden, a fitness center, multi-purpose center, nine levels of parking and 16,000 square feet of ground floor restaurant space, which will expand upon Harwood Hospitality Group’s curated portfolio of concepts

Harwood's projects are so hit or miss. Based on the rendering I'm concerned about what this one will end up looking like.

It's happening: H-E-B plans to open 2 new stores in Plano, Frisco by fall 2022.

COLLIN COUNTY, Texas — It's finally happening! Residents in Dallas-Fort Worth, you'll soon be able to shop at H-E-B without having to leave the metroplex.

The Texas-based grocer confirmed Friday that it is bringing two supermarkets to Plano and Frisco. H-E-B will break ground the two new stores this summer. They are scheduled to open in the fall of 2022.


The Frisco store will be located at the northeast corner of Legacy Drive and Main Street. The Plano store will be built at the southwest corner of Preston Road and Spring Creek Parkway, the company said.

^^ I had four or five friends and family members text me when that news came out. They've always enjoyed HEB by us and are all stoked about these two going in near them. They're already making bets on where the next ones land.
