I was back on Drexel's campus for the first time in a long while, and this is really a gamechanger for the area in terms of "feel", like UC and center city are blending together more than ever.

I don't mind the elevated tracks there. Together with the new buildings it'll be a modern/industrial vibe.

Also from Drexel on Market, 2222 Market Street looks surprisingly big, as well as classy and modern.

I was on campus in October, and it's changed so much since I attended. The huge research building coming to JFK & Market will also add to the transformation of that stretch.

I wish the former Fire Stone would be turned into a permanent park vs. the makeshift setup. I assume the plot will be a building one day, but a campus welcome park would be nice. I am also glad the university removed the exit lane onto 32nd Street, it was so dangerous.

To me that gives the area some character and I particularly love the freight line among the towers!

I feel confident the appearance of tracks will be upgraded
But really, wouldn't a transit line just be perfect here?

Great update! I especially like the 2nd picture with the train tracks in front and how much the building grows the skyline.

I can see that. The lots themselves aren't that large, especially the future red building to the East.
But I am glad this first building isn't looking blocky, I think it looks fantastic actually.

I originally only liked this project for what it is and what it represents, it looked like a Philly special stacked on a suburban office building, just two boxes sitting there.

Now that it's going up, I am pleasantly surprised. It's still a bit boring, but the contrast between the façade and glass is far better than what's in renderings. All of that being said, Schuylkill Yards represents the future of Philly and I'm super happy to see it progressing.

This project is so much more imposing than 361 ft. Especially from I-76 EB.

The scale of this tower at only 361' puts into perspective how massive the red tower will be (if ever built).

I'd be pleasantly surprised if there was inside info. I'm just skeptical of current and previous estimated completion/start dates. It's been repeatedly delayed, from what I understand because of needing to find an anchor tenant.
