Wow, great thread...I can't believe it took me this long to find this. I'm glad that the Lihwa tower finally seems to be moving ahead.

The original design work was done by Artech, but like Lihwa this project has been on hold for many years. I posted the rendering again because media reports cited it as one of the projects that may benefit from the tightening market for office space. I suspect the height will be in the range of 100 - 125m.

mmm...all those "Skydome", "New Skydome"...and the other new projects posted above make me think that Panchiao is becoming the "walled city" of Taiwan...

I don't like that so much ... but it's kind of unique afterall..

thanks for the pics and good job!! i feel guilty you're doing all the work in this forum, but i dont live there so i can't do much to help you!

i wish those buildings can be taller. i would love to see a real cluster of towers developing around taipei 101 to give taipei a substantive skyline. and it's kind of a waste of land and money to build such low rises in prime real estate like xinyi but that's all they're building there right now.

hey taiwan ren
that Chen tower looks nice, although it is just a preliminary proposal, do u know the location of where it plans to be built?
also it is good news to hear there will be 100m+ buildings around taipei dome, i didnt know there is going to be a ferris wheel though?

Sorry, I don't have any info on the Chen tower other than the link posted below the rendering.

The image of the Dome complex is from a TSE report. It is dated 3/26/07, so this is definitely the most recent vision of the proposed development.
