I believe it has at least moved back to active (it was inactive there for a while) so I'm guessing that means an update (at least another round of comments) soon.

It sounds like they have to do some utility work in one of the easements before the site plan can be approved.

Another set of comments from the city is up. No approval yet.

An interesting detail from the review comments

"Based on conversations with staff, the southern driveway shall be a permanent access easement with the adjacent property for access, and the northern driveway (on the adjacent property) will be a joint use access to Burnet Road and Aguilar Drive. The driveway to Burnet Road will be for emergency access only and be available for access only during game days/events on the adjacent property. Provide callouts on the circulation plan showing the overall vehicular circulation. "

definitely seems like they're one of the parties AustinFC was referencing when they mentioned other adjacent developments wanted to leverage their infrastructure.

Where is Aguilar Drive? I don't see a street by that name in the vicinity of the stadium.

Pretty sure that's the very short N/S road that connects Braker Ln to the "panhandle" access road at the stadium and Arena Tower. It sits between the new apartment building and the gas station.

Where exactly is the Arena Tower core sampling taking place in the webcam view?

The site is still a parking lot for MLS Stadium construction workers. But an FAA filing was made for the building's 264' height.

Nice, I had forgotten about this one. It'll be interesting to see what else pops up around the stadium.

Next council meeting (December 10) has Item 37 for access and wastewater easements serving the Capella project.

This may be the "waiting on legal" limbo status the project has been in for so long. Hopefully passing this would start the project moving again.

Moving forward hopefully. With the completion of Q2 stadium the lot will no longer be needed for parking and staging.

Are they actually using Capella’s property for that? I’d think they’d just use the shopping strip just south of there that Precourt bought/leveled.

Yes. All the construction workers park in the lot where the building will eventually be built.

The easements should clear the way for site plan approval, but last I heard, they do not have an anchor tenant, which means they cannot get their financing.

That's disappointing. How bout Q2 as an anchor tenant.
