Here's an amazing amateur photograph taken on a busy day in the 1890s.
found on ebay.
At first glance I thought that diagonal 'structure' on the right was an external exit for Morosco's Burbank Theater.
but actually, it appears to be on the side of the J.F. Granas store.

Am I correct to say the wooden 'structure' is/are stairs leading up to a second floor? (there's one drawback; I don't see a 2nd floor
)
And before I go...I have to mention the lady darting across the street.
It's little details, like this running lady, that make spur of the moment photos so darn amazing.
It makes me feel like I was there for a brief moment) witnessing this.
