I wish the Foundry buildings had staggered heights so they don't create such a tabletop effect, but these are very high quality, class A buildings. It could be much, much worse. First world problems for sure.

I love the angle of this shot; the most prominent buildings are perfectly placed, and it reinforces just how close we are to having our skyline amazingly transformed - just a matter of months, even weeks now.

Freaking awesome shot!
If I were to be greedy, I'd want a little more pan to the right to include Rincon Hill

I love this photo. I think I'm going to post it in the 'aerials' thread in Found Photos.

And yes, Rincon Hill is sorely missed in the photo. But it's still great.

Please build this!

Not the prettiest thing I've seen, but it would help stretch the skyline towards Mission Bay from the Bay Bridge cliff.

^^^This shouldn't be by itself. Why not have some company just across Bluxome Street?

man, finally - finally - it's starting to happen in central soma. there are so many projects just waiting to burst out once we raise the height limits there. could end up being a baby version of south fidi.

speaking of Bluxome, here is the in-progress lot between it and Brannan, near the Fourth St end

the hotel next to the future Moscone subway stop

couple views of the little alley off Fifth St, behind the new fire station. glimpse of the back of the project going up across Folsom from Mosso

the Harrison side of the large project at Eighth. Chron recently had an article about projects along Harrison:

the Eighth St side

the future little plaza on the corner of Eighth and Ringgold Alley

Ringgold Alley itself

Market and Sanchez

the Sanchez section

the ongoing renovation work at 55 Laguna (could they really not have removed the telephone poles?)

450 Hayes is beginning to wrap up, and this means that Ivy Alley behind it is looking good:

Fulton and Gough

another look at Market Place

South Park still in progress

Third and 23rd

forgot this one... not sure why it took so long, but looks like the widened sidewalks along the Beale side of Lumina are taking shape

Amazing shot. Crazy to think how much that skyline has changed with the build out of Rincon Hill, and how much it still stands to change with all of the towers going up now, and just getting underway.

1 Henry Adams in Showplace Square is becoming more visible. here some looks at how it's shaping up

looking at it down 8th St from its sister project on Brannan

and the Brannan side of the latter:

Fulton 555, stalled?

Should we assume that Fulton 555 is stalled at this point?

San Francisco's CheeseGrater..

When the sun reflects at certain angles on the tile, 388 Fulton reminds me of a Gehry.
Like London's Gerkin, I suggest calling this one.....
San Francisco's CheeseGrater Building.
