I love how useful that MSA weighted density list has turned out to be.

Oh hey, cool, yet another thread that has transformed into "lets all have a turn taking a piss on Nashville."

I don't think Nashville is another hype train.

From what I've noticed Nashville has the highest quality developments in the south (even if I have bias for some other cities). There are a lot of great designs, decent height, and good pedestrian experiences in the recent developments. The Nashville yards development is something nowhere in the U.S. is seeing except Hudson Yards and maybe Miami WC. There isn't crazy parking amounts in a lot of the developments (cough cough Miami and Atlanta). The amount of development in the city says otherwise on the direction of the city. It might've been hype at the start, but it's really establishing itself as a diversified economy.

Yeah Nashville is pretty bad for bikes/people and is spread out, but they are making great progress.

I wasn't trying to piss on Nashville, just trying to show that city proper comparisons between Nashville and most other cities are kinda silly because of the city-county merger.

Thanks again for crunching all that data!

Wasn't referring to you Steely, sorry, I have no problem with factual information! I had just skimmed through the thread and was perhaps a little overzealous with my usage of the word "all" there.
